10 chicken legs

1 medium onion

1 medium tomato

8 cloves of garlic

2 tablespoons browning

1 teaspoon black ground pepper

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper

1 cup vegetable oil 

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup lemon juice

1/4 cup white vinegar

1 1/2 cups water

Directions: Clean chicken with vinegar, lemon juice and cold water, drain the water from the chicken then put it in a large bowl and set aside. Cut up the onion, garlic and tomato in chunks and add to the chicken. Add salt, crushed red pepper, black pepper, browning and toss everything together, cover and let it sit for 1 hour or overnight to marinate. In a large pot put oil and turn stove on high flame, let the oil get hot and then add the chicken and brown on all sides, add the rest of the ingredients, add the water and stir, bring to a boil and cook for about 10 minutes then reduce flame to medium. Cover the pot and cook for 15 minutes stirring in between cooking time. Turn off the stove then remove from heat. Serve with White Rice or peas and rice and Harvest Salad.

( 5 Servings). 

Serve with White Rice  or peas and rice  and Harvest Salad .
