4 to 7 1/2 pounds pork spareribs

1 cup brown sugar

1 1/2 cups ketchup

1/2 cup soy sauce

2 heaping tsps chopped garlic 

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon black pepper

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 tablespoon garlic powder

4 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon cayenne pepper

1 cup olive oil 

1 tablespoon dry thyme

2 teaspoons salt

1/4 cup vinegar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Wash spareribs with the vinegar and the lemon juice in cold water and drain. Cut spareribs in half pieces then sprinkle with 1 tsp salt and put it in a large baking pan, cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and drain the dripping. Turn the oven up to 425 degrees F. In a 8 cup measuring cup or medium bowl mix together brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, chopped garlic, honey, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, Dijon mustard, cayenne pepper, olive oil, dry thyme and salt, mix and glaze the spareribs with the sauce then return to the oven uncovered, let the spare ribs bake for addition 40 minute, baste and turn occasionally, put oven on high broil and broil for 5 minutes. Turn off the oven then remove the ribs and serve.
