2 cups white rice (I use Jasmine or Basmati Rice)
3 cups cold water
1 tsp olive oil
Pinch of salt (optional)
2 quart pot
rice in pot, add water, olive oil, salt and stir. Put the pot with all the
ingredients on medium flame and bring to a boil for 5 minutes or until
most of the water is dries out, Then lower flame to simmer and continue
cooking for 30 minutes or until well done, the rice grains will be soft.
Fluff the rice with a fork then turn off the flame and remove from heat.
Serve with meat or vegetable of your choice.
